Jesus Christ: The way I see him.

At the onset, I would like to inform the readers that this is a very radical blog and I have no intensions of hurting anyone's personal views/beliefs. All my close friends consider me as a radical and philosopher here in Goa. I consider myself to be an agnostic.

In my whole life so far I have read the Old and New Testament (Bible) twice, first time in 1977 and for the second time in 1981, not just in my quest to find and understand God but because I like to read history of all religions created by men.

What I observed was that Jesus belonged to a royalty just like Buddha. He was a descended of King David and after King David there was no male heir to the throne and may be during or after King David reign their land was occupied the Roman Empire.

Secondly, that Jesus had no father and legal implication of this is what I call as a fact, that he was a bastard. The theory of some supernatural powers having sex with human beings does not hold any waters in a scientific world, so also the creature born if possibly could have a human form too.

Thirdly, He was and what I would consider as a great philosopher, social reformer and freedom fighter of his times, just like Mahatma Gandhi, who tried to fight the Roman Empire through non-violence and non-cooperation. And during his struggle he must have alienated the Jewish clergy which finally led to his death and death by crucifixion was a widespread method of executing people in the ancient world.

Now, I say, that since the Roman Empire had started to collapse they took the advantage of this man and tried to elated him via his death. The outcome of this even a blind person can see. The same old Roman Empire has mutated from one form to another! The highest seat of the Roman Catholic Church is itself in Rome, Italy and is the most powerful religious organization in the world.

Lastly, the Roman Catholic Church has already accepted a change in their age-old important doctrine viz. that in the beginning God created man and I hope that at least in future they accept that they lied to the people in forcing them to believe that Jesus Christ was son of God.

Oh yes…I totally forgot. May I ask the so-called Holy Roman Catholic Church, IF JESUS CHRIST WAS SON OF GOD THEN, WHY DID HE CURSE THE FIG TREE? ISN’T THE FIG TREE TOO A CREATION OF GOD???
